Beef Plant Closing in North Dakota

(Mott, ND) — The owner of the South 40 Beef processing plant is announcing they are shutting down. The business was started by John Roswech, who wanted to provide USDA-certified beef directly to customers. Despite finding multiple loyal customers, Roswech says the operating costs of the plant have become too much. He hopes to find someone willing to take over the business, which has been in operation for about two years.
