(Mayer, MN) — Ongoing dry conditions have farmers in Minnesota concerned. Despite a wet winter, precipitation rates have dropped off throughout past months. Scott Hoese hasn’t seen a decent rainfall at his Carver County farm in about three weeks, and says the ground in his fields is becoming very dry. The dry weather may soon begin negatively impacting crops, and farmers remain hopeful that wetter weather will return.
