Emerald Ash Borers May Be Spreading To North Dakota

(Fargo, ND) — The North Dakota Department of Agriculture is working to prevent the spread of Emerald Ash Borers into the state. The insects kill ash trees, and were spotted just across the state line in Moorhead, Minnesota earlier this year. In nearby Fargo, Department of Agriculture workers are installing insect traps to protect ash trees in the area, and determine if the borers have spread. Emerald Ash Borer season continues into August, and the traps will remain up until then.
