(WASHINGTON D.C.) — The demand picture for U.S. commodities still remains lackluster, but it was a modest week last week for sales of corn, soybeans and wheat. Numbers for the week fell within pre-report estimates. Japan and Mexico were the top buyers for U.S. corn in the week ended June 22nd, 2023. Mexico, China and Japan were the top buyers for U.S. soybeans last week as well.
Beef and pork net sales were down slightly from last week at 12,000 MT and 26,700 MT respectively. That was down 9% on the week for beef and 7% for pork.
