Closed Pork Plant May Reopen Soon

(Windom, MN) — A pork processing plant in Windom that closed down earlier this year may be reopening in the near future. The closure of the Hylife Foods plant resulted in over a thousand workers losing their jobs. However, the facility was recently bought by Iowa Premium Pork, meaning the plant could potentially reopen soon. However, it is unclear as to how many former Hylife workers, if any, will be allowed to return to working at the plant.
