Weekly Export Sales Highlights; Daily Corn Sale Announced to Mexico on Friday

(WASHINGTON D.C.)– Due to the holiday schedule, Weekly Export Sales from USDA for the week ending June 29th, 2023 were released on Friday morning.

On the report, we saw corn net sales of 251,700 metric tons (MT) for 2022/2023, up 79 percent from the previous week and 62 percent from the prior 4-week average. Net sales of 418,000 MT of corn for the 2023/2024 marketing year were seen as well. Soybean net sales of 187,800 MT for 2022/2023 were down 17 percent from the previous week and 45 percent from the prior 4-week average. Net sales of 592,800 MT for the 2023/2024 marketing year were seen as well. Wheat net sales of 405,800 metric tons were seen for 2023/2024 as well.

Beef saw net sales of 17,000 MT for 2023, which were up 41 percent from the previous week and 33 percent from the prior 4-week average. Pork net sales of 26,000 MT for 2023 were down 3 percent from the previous week and from the prior 4-week average.

Also, according to USDA on Friday morning, private exporters reported sales of 180,000 metric tons of corn for delivery to Mexico. Of the total, 45,000 metric tons is for delivery during the 2022/2023 marketing year and 135,000 metric tons is for delivery during the 2023/2024 marketing year.
