Anthrax Cases Reach 15 In Grant Co.

(Grant Co., ND) — More cases of anthrax have been reported in southwest North Dakota. Officials say cattle producers may want to consider vaccinating their herds. Grant County has 15 confirmed cases of anthrax and Hettinger County has one. Veterinarians say the vaccine is in high demand. State Ag Director Doug Goehring says soil conditions and the weather are contributing factors in the number of anthrax cases.
