(Bismarck, ND) — North Dakota’s pheasant season will open early next month. The season will officially begin on October 7th, and experts are saying this year should be a good year for pheasant hunters. North Dakota Game and Fish Department game biologists conducted brood surveys in the previous months to determine what kind of hunting season to expect. The results showed a 61-percent increase in the number of birds per 100 miles, which is good news for hunters. More information on pheasant hunting can be found on the North Dakota Game and Fish Department’s website.
