Farmers Helping Family After Deadly Home Explosion

(Emery, SD) — Local farmers are rallying to help the Humboldt family affected by last week’s deadly home explosion. 22-year-old Ben Goehring, a recent graduate of Augustana University, tragically lost his life. His parents, Lori and Leland, had critical injuries, and their said they are beginning the road to recovery. But many people are doing everything they can to help the family finish their harvest. Around a dozen combines showed up, along with many more trucks and carts on Tuesday in an effort to combine more than five-hundred acres.
