Minnesota Farm Bureau Leaders Attend President Biden Visit

NORTHFIELD, Minn. – President Dan Glessing and other leaders from the Minnesota Farm Bureau Federation (MFBF) had the opportunity to attend President Joe Biden’s appearance in Minnesota on Wednesday afternoon as he kicked off his Investing in Rural America Event Series.

President Biden visited Dutch Creek Farms in Northfield to highlight his administration’s investments in Rural America. During his remarks, he announced over $5 billion from his Investing in America agenda – including the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and the Inflation Reduction Act – to advance rural prosperity, economic development, competition, and sustainability.

“It is an honor to have President Biden visit Minnesota and for us to showcase our farms and rural communities,” said President Glessing. “Minnesota Farm Bureau applauds the administration for putting a focus on our rural communities through the Investing in Rural America Series and will anxiously await its implementation.”

Also in attendance were MFBF Executive Director Karin Schaefer, District 2 Director Robert Roelofs, and MFBF member and American Farm Bureau Federation Young Farmers & Ranchers Committee member Caitlin Keck.
