UTTC, NDSU Partnering Up For New Ag Tech Program

(Bismarck, ND) — United Tribes Technical College is partnering with NDSU for a new Ag Tech program called FARMS, which stands for “Food Systems Adapted for Resiliency and Maximized Security.” North Dakota’s tribal college system will be awarded 15-million dollars over the next two years to improve agriculture industries and collaboration between higher education institutions in the state. All the tribal colleges will be able to share traditional growing practices and thoughts on food sovereignty and food security on their campuses.
