(Bismarck, ND) — North Dakota is receiving 50-million dollars in federal grant money to fund agricultural development and research. The money comes as part of a federal funding bill, and Senator John Hoeven has authored a provision in the bill that would establish a new agricultural policy research center at NDSU. Twenty-five million dollars would also go toward agriculture research locations throughout the state, with the goal of improving the yield and health of crops grown in North Dakota.
