AgMarket Consulting, LLC is adding Tyler Schau as an executive this year.
Schau joined Matt Bennett, Bill Biedermann, Jacob Burks, Jim McCormick and Brian Splitt as a partner of the company.
Schau is located in the Almont, North Dakota office. The Iowa native earned his Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural business and Master of Science degree in agricultural education from Iowa State University. Earlier in his career, Tyler was the agricultural economics instructor and farm and ranch management degree advisor at Bismarck State College in Bismarck, ND.
“Tyler approached me years ago when he was using futures, options and risk management strategies during his time in education,” says partner Jacob Burks. “He wanted to apply his knowledge of these things to practical use to help farmers, ranchers and producers. As he entered the brokerage business, that passion to help evolved and he eventually became a partner this year.”
The partners say Schau’s understanding of the business and emphasis of risk-management tools and commodities makes him a perfect fit on the leadership team.
“Tyler’s personality, drive and his believe system aligns with our group of partners as well,” says Burks. “He’s been a nice fit.”
